Pricing & Typical Costs

I believe in clear, fair pricing with no surprises. Most jobs can be priced quickly once I know what the issue is, and I’ll always explain the likely cost before starting work.

Call-out & Minimum Charge

“all prices include KDV”

My minimum charge for turning up is £35. Including upto an hour to fix anything that can be repaired within the time.

No charge for quotes or estimates or visits to arrange jobs.

All hours after the first hour are charged at £25 per hour.

Larger job quotes are also based on that pricing system plus materials.

The £35 call out covers travel, time on site, and diagnosis. In most cases, small jobs are completed within this price.

Small & Common Repairs

Most everyday handyman jobs are usually priced within the following ranges:

  • Toilet running or slow filling: £35 – £50
  • Tap leaks and minor plumbing repairs: from £35
  • Silicone replacement (bath or shower): £45
  • Immersion heater fault finding: from £50
  • Outdoor socket (simple install): from £60

Larger or More Involved Jobs

For bigger repairs, electrical faults, pool work, or jobs requiring extra time or materials, pricing is based on the work involved.

The cost will always be discussed and agreed before any work starts.

No Hidden Costs

  • No unexpected add-ons
  • No clock-watching
  • No work carried out without approval
