Immersion & Aircon Booster Timers Supplied and Fitted
Booster timers are a simple upgrade that can save electricity and stop waste — especially in homes where the hot water or aircon can accidentally be left running for hours and hours.
Immersion / hot water: A booster timer gives you controlled heating time, so you don’t forget the immersion is on all afternoon. You can still use the “boost” when you need it, but it won’t stay on endlessly.
Aircon timers (rental properties): These can also be fitted to air conditioning units to prevent the aircon being left on for endless amounts of time when a property is empty. That said, in holiday rentals this needs a bit of thought — if guests feel restricted or the room isn’t comfortable, it can sometimes trigger bad reviews. It’s often a balance between economy and guest experience, so choose carefully.
Worth knowing: Fitting a single timer is a small job, and because a standard call-out charge applies, it’s usually best value when combined with other small jobs around the house (sockets, lights, minor fixes, adjustments, etc.).
